OSET CUP NORTH ROUND 4

OSET ROCK "THE ROCK STORE"

OSET ROCK “THE ROCK STORE”

OSET CUP NORTH ROUND 4 took place at “The Rock Store” a disused quarry on the outskirts of Scunthorpe. 30 riders took on the course which was made up of rock outcrops and lose ground in between which proved challenging in terms of finding grip. The course was marked out by Scott Witting from Scunthorpe Motor Club and Scott got it spot on across the routes. John Wilkinson Photography were on hand and produced all the fantastic images. OSET CUP NORTH run 4 routes.

White 71

White flags for our beginners with Archie Cruickshank's.

Yellow 48

Yellow for yearlings with Joshua Tate.

Oliver Hellewell 3

Red for accomplished riders with Oliver Hellewell.

William Budden 7

Blue for Elite British Championship level with William Budden.

The aim is to enable progression through the routes and build riders confidence and ability. White and Yellow are more fun routes and marking or scoring is very lenient with some outside assistance allowed. Red and Blue are much more competitive and normal trials rules and scoring are applied. We must be getting it right as we now have former OSET CUP NORTH riders competing at WORLD level, yes WORLD !!! level. Can we produce more stars in the future? We are sure we can. The future is bright as we have more riders coming through all the time. Watch out Mr Bou we are on our way !!!
